cakhiatv_China undergoes changes ahead of facing Vietnam
Following disappointing performances in the FIFA Days matches in September, drawing against Malaysia and losing to Syria, China’s coach Jankovic faced criticism from fans. According to Sina, aside from poor results, the 1972-born coach was opposed for fielding an aging and slow squad with many players over the age of 32.
Therefore, before the match against Vietnam during the October FIFA Days, the Chinese national team will undergo comprehensive reforms. Coach Jankovic is expected to completely “rejuvenate” the squad, preparing for future matches and selecting players based on their performance in the next 3 rounds of the domestic league, as well as their displays for 3 clubs in the AFC Champions League, along with some young players who have played well at the Asian Games.
